Battlefield 6 rolls out massive pre-season update 1.1.1.0

Battlefield 6 has officially received one of its most comprehensive updates to date. Version 1.1.1.0, released on October 28, 2025, brings major improvements to the game’s core systems ahead of the new season. The update went live on all platforms at 12:00 PM (TRT), while Season 1 content such as the battle pass and missions will be available at 6:00 PM. The patch includes hundreds of gameplay tweaks, bug fixes, technical adjustments, and visual upgrades.

Core mechanics and technical systems overhauled

The update focuses heavily on character animations and movement. Jumping, landing, climbing, sliding, and parachuting are now smoother and more responsive. “Bouncing” issues when colliding with objects have been reduced, and transitions between aiming, leaning, mounting, and prone positions have been stabilized. Problems such as weapon misalignment on respawn, zipline disconnections, and landing desyncs have been fixed.

Vehicle handling also receives major improvements. Tank weapon switching now includes proper haptic feedback. Visual clipping issues with the M1A2 SEPv3’s outer seats have been corrected, and camera shake bugs on jets and helicopters have been removed.

Gadget mechanics see several fixes. The MAS 148 Glaive’s first-person obstruction bug has been resolved, defibrillators no longer appear to float mid-air, and resupply kits now work as intended. Anti-tank explosives deal more consistent damage, and sledgehammer structural destruction has been rebalanced.

Weapons have been fully re-tuned. Accuracy spread values across all weapon types have been reworked. Post-sprint aiming inconsistencies have been addressed. All sniper rifles now share the same baseline accuracy regardless of class. Red dot alignment issues have been fixed, bipod FOV problems corrected, and burst fire on automatic rifles refined. Suppressor cost values have been adjusted, and a firing range exit bug has been eliminated.

Maps received extensive adjustments. Zipline networks were rebuilt, lighting transitions improved, and post-explosion smoke duration reduced. Spawn errors and out-of-bounds issues were fixed across multiple locations. Major corrections were applied to “Mirak Valley,” “Siege of Cairo,” “Liberation Peak,” “New Sobek City,” and “Manhattan Bridge.” Game mode issues in Rush, Escalation, and TDM—including score and objective sync problems—have been resolved.

The UI and HUD have also been updated. New indicators for unlocked weapons, gadgets, and explosives were added. Gadget previews now include 3D models and explainer videos. HUD scaling issues on non-standard aspect ratios were fixed. XP Boost icons display correctly at the end of matches, and menu transitions have been smoothed out. A new “Flick Look” control option has been added for helicopters, jets, and transport vehicles. Single-player mission cinematic glitches and black screen bugs have been fixed. In Portal, loading times were reduced and crash issues resolved.

The audio engine received a major overhaul. Rocket, missile, and explosion sound effects have been remastered with improved distance and echo modeling. Radio chatter now plays through controller speakers. Missing ambient sounds have been restored, while defibrillator and vehicle impact effects were reworked. Reload sounds have been synchronized, and abrupt music cuts eliminated.

With version 1.1.1.0, Battlefield 6 makes a significant technical leap ahead of its upcoming season. From core animations to sound design, weapon tuning to environmental effects, the entire experience has been refined to deliver smoother, more stable, and more immersive multiplayer gameplay.
