DJI, best known for its drones and camera technology, has officially stepped into the smart home market. The company introduced DJI Romo, a transparent robot vacuum cleaner that combines sweeping and mopping functions. Originally unveiled in China during the summer, Romo is now available across Europe, bringing DJI’s advanced navigation technology to home cleaning.
DJI Romo specs and price
The device comes in three models. The fully transparent Romo P is priced at €1,899, the Romo A with a transparent body and white base costs €1,599, and the all-white Romo S is €1,299. All three models are now available through store.dji.com. The models share the same core hardware, with only minor differences in design and accessories.

Romo’s structure resembles competing products on the market. It features a central roller brush paired with a corner-reaching side brush, similar to Roborock’s Qrevo Curv series. The robot automatically lifts its mop pads when moving over carpets. With 25,000Pa suction power and a 164ml onboard water tank, it can clean for extended periods without returning to its dock.
The Romo P showcased at IFA 2025 is notably larger and taller than many rivals. This is due to its sensor system, which borrows from DJI’s drone technology. The robot combines dual fisheye vision cameras with wide-angle solid-state lidar, allowing it to detect objects as thin as a 2mm charging cable or a single playing card. This precision lets the robot avoid common obstacles like cords and socks with ease.
Its docking station includes a special floor deodorizer compartment in addition to standard cleaning solution tanks. The mop pads are cleaned with a high-pressure water jet and then dried with hot air. DJI also claims the dock’s sound suppression system reduces noise levels by 80%, lowering the typical self-emptying station noise to around 65 decibels.
DJI Romo is currently only available in Europe, with no U.S. launch date announced. DJI has confirmed that detailed performance tests will be shared in the coming weeks.
