AMD has introduced two new mobile CPU lineups Ryzen 10 and Ryzen 100 marking the return of its previous Zen architectures with refreshed branding. This update expands the company’s portfolio across entry, mid, and high-end segments with a clearer segmentation strategy.
AMD Ryzen 10 and Ryzen 100 Series Explained
With this launch, AMD has revamped its naming scheme for mobile processors. While the Ryzen 9000 name was expected to appear on laptops after the Ryzen 8000 series, the company reserved it for desktop CPUs. For mobile, AMD introduced the Ryzen 10 and Ryzen 100 series as part of its new branding structure.

The Ryzen 100 lineup is built on the Zen 3+ architecture and is based on the Rembrandt family. The highlight of this series is the Ryzen 7 170, an 8-core processor with a 28W TDP and integrated Radeon 680M graphics. These chips support the FP7-R2 socket and DDR5 memory, positioning them in the performance-focused category.
The Ryzen 10 lineup uses the Zen 2 architecture and is derived from Mendocino processors. Ryzen 3 30 and Ryzen 3 40 feature 4 cores, Radeon 610M graphics, LPDDR5 memory support, and a 15W TDP, making them ideal for entry-level laptops and Chromebooks.
This naming change extends beyond these two series. AMD has reorganized its entire mobile portfolio: Ryzen 300 covers Strix Point and Krackan APUs, Ryzen 200 includes Hawk Point/Phoenix, Ryzen 100 consists of Rembrandt-based Zen 3+ CPUs, and Ryzen 10 includes Mendocino-based Zen 2 CPUs.
The Ryzen 100 lineup includes models such as Ryzen 3 110, Ryzen 5 150, and Ryzen 7 170 with Radeon 640M, 660M, and 680M GPU options. The Ryzen 10 lineup includes Ryzen 3 30 and Ryzen 5 40 with LPDDR5 memory.
