Samsung releases One UI 8 update for Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung continues rolling out the new One UI 8 interface to its compatible devices. The South Korean tech giant is gradually distributing the update aimed at improving overall user experience. Most recently, the popular Galaxy S21 FE has started receiving the One UI 8 update.

One UI 8 now available for Galaxy S21 FE

The update package, measuring around 2.3 GB, is currently available for Galaxy S21 FE users in Europe and India. It will expand to more regions in the coming days. Users can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install on their devices.

One UI 8 introduces a refreshed Android-based interface, performance improvements, enhanced security patches, and better power optimization. The rollout covers a wide range of Samsung products, from flagship smartphones to mid-range devices.

The latest version brings smoother animations, improved multitasking, redesigned lock screen widgets, and optimized background management to boost battery efficiency.

Samsung’s One UI 8 eligibility list includes flagship Galaxy S25, S24, S23, and S22 series models, as well as foldable Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip devices. The update also extends to various tablets in the Galaxy Tab S10, Tab S9, Tab S8, and Tab A lineups, along with multiple models from the Galaxy A, M, F, and XCover series.

Newly released devices such as the Galaxy Tab S11, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE come preloaded with One UI 8 out of the box.

Samsung is expected to complete the global rollout of One UI 8 in the coming weeks, with users able to manually check for updates to stay on the latest version.
