AOC introduces new QD-OLED gaming monitors

AOC has expanded its gaming monitor lineup with two new QD-OLED models the AOC GAMING Q27G4ZDR and Q27G4SDR. Both monitors feature a 27-inch display, offering refresh rates of 240 Hz and 360 Hz respectively, for a high-performance gaming experience. With the clean and functional G4 series design, these monitors combine professional-level performance with compact construction and competitive pricing to reach a broader audience of gamers.

The AOC GAMING Q27G4ZDR and Q27G4SDR are the first AOC GAMING models under AGON by AOC to feature QD-OLED technology. Both models offer QHD (2560×1440) resolution with a pixel density of 110.84 PPI, nearly infinite contrast ratios, and 99.1% DCI-P3 color accuracy. Thanks to their 10-bit color depth, they can display up to 1.07 billion colors with smooth transitions and precise color reproduction.

HDR support is also included on both models. The Q27G4ZDR supports the HDR10 standard, while the Q27G4SDR carries the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. These standards ensure vivid highlights and detailed shadows for a more immersive visual experience. AOC has also integrated its OLED Care system into both monitors to reduce the risk of burn-in, backed by a three-year warranty that even covers potential screen retention.

The Q27G4ZDR offers a balanced experience with its 240 Hz refresh rate, while the Q27G4SDR provides a competitive edge with 360 Hz — ideal for esports and fast-paced titles. Both models boast an ultra-low 0.03 ms GtG response time, minimizing motion blur and ghosting. Certified NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and supporting Adaptive-Sync, these displays eliminate screen tearing across variable frame rates, ensuring smoother gameplay.

In terms of brightness and contrast, the Q27G4ZDR delivers 400 nits with a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, while the Q27G4SDR offers up to 1000 nits peak brightness for superior HDR performance. These capabilities enhance clarity and highlight details in both dark and bright scenes.

Connectivity options include dual HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports for full compatibility with the latest graphics cards and gaming consoles. Both models feature an integrated USB 3.2 hub with fast charging support, and console gamers on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S can enjoy QHD visuals at 120 Hz.

The monitors also include AOC’s gaming-focused software optimizations such as Shadow Control for enhanced visibility in dark areas, Game Color for saturation tuning, and Low Input Lag mode for instant on-screen response. Anti-Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies help minimize eye strain during extended gaming sessions.

Both displays adopt the minimalist yet functional design of the G4 series, with a three-sided frameless structure, matte black finish, and textured surface details. The ergonomic stand supports 130 mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot modes, while VESA 100×100 mounting compatibility allows for flexible multi-monitor setups.

Through the AOC G-Menu software, users can customize game profiles and easily fine-tune display settings. PiP/PbP functionality enables simultaneous viewing of multiple sources. Each monitor ships with 1.8-meter HDMI and DisplayPort cables included.

According to AOC Product Manager Cesar Acosta, the new models make QD-OLED technology accessible to a broader range of players, offering the fast response, deep contrast, and color precision of OLED panels at more affordable prices. The AOC GAMING Q27G4ZDR and Q27G4SDR will be available starting December 2025, priced at $625 and $815 respectively.
