GAC Aion UT now on sale! Price and specs

GAC officially launched the Aion UT, its third global model, on February 28. This vehicle is available in five different trim levels, offering driving ranges of 330 km and 420 km. The price range varies between 69,800 and 101,800 yuan (approximately $9,600 – $14,000 USD).

Aion UT stands out with its contrasting floating roof design. At the front, it features 19 LED daytime running lights, a D-shaped headlight design, and C-shaped taillights at the rear. The vehicle measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

Entry-level and mid-range models come with 16-inch wheels, while the top-tier trims feature 17-inch wheels. Buyers can choose from six exterior color options: red, silver, white, beige, purple, and green.

The vehicle is equipped with a front electric motor producing 100 kW (134 hp). Depending on the trim level, battery options include capacities of 34.868 kWh, 44.257 kWh, 44.12 kWh, and 44.133 kWh. The Aion UT offers two different CLTC-rated driving ranges: 330 km and 420 km.

The maximum speed is set at 150 km/h, while its moose test speed was measured at 75 km/h. According to WLTC standards, the vehicle consumes an average of 11.4 kWh per 100 km. Thanks to fast charging support, the battery can charge from 30% to 80% in just 24 minutes.

Inside, the Aion UT features a 14.6-inch central control screen, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel, and circular air vents. It supports HiCar, CarLink, and CarPlay connectivity, along with an AI-powered voice assistant.

The highest trim level includes Level 2 advanced driving assistance systems and ambient lighting, while all models come standard with OTA updates, in-car WiFi, two to six speakers, and remote mobile control features.

The vehicle offers a trunk capacity of 440 liters and comes with a 1.8 x 1.77-meter panoramic sunroof, providing a wide field of view. The front seats can be fully reclined, and the heating system can warm the front seats from 0°C to 20°C in just 30 seconds.
